October Newsletter + Announcement!

Written by Ryan Hitchcock (Financial Advisor, High Point Capital Group, Milwaukee, WI)

Announcement

I want to ensure you have more access to me for questions or conversation in today's market and economic environment, that is why I'm announcing two new ways to get in touch with me:

1) Texting  414-253-4611

This is my direct office number, which you can now text me on.

When to use it: Think of this as a step above email regarding urgency.

i.e. "Hi Ryan, I need to talk to you today about getting a distribution from my IRA.  I am available for a phone call from 11 am to noon or after 4 pm today."

Disclaimer:  I can't give recommendations or anything over text, just like email.

2) Open Virtual Office Hours

I'm excited about this one!

Mondays: 3pm - 5pm

Fridays: 8:30am - 10am

https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82759538669

When to use it:  If you want to have 5-10 min conversation

i.e. "Hi Ryan, I have a question on my most recent statement I need clarification on."  (I can then open the statement up on my computer, share my screen with you, and off we go).

How it works:

  • Click the above link during my virtual office hours
  • You will then be placed in a virtual waiting room
  • I will either let you in right away OR no more than 5 mins wait
  • *use your phone, laptop, or tablet...turn the camera on or off.  Up to you

 *Phone calls still work, yes.

My days are primarily in & out of meetings and I'll always return voicemails.  My hope is the above alternatives will help improve options and efficiencies as well.

"Hear" from me directly

2022 has been a tough year all around with numerous headwinds everywhere.

With all this going on, it has been hard to conceptualize how it all works together and how it affects you financially (you as an everyday person).

In the following three episodes, I break down three observations I've seen in the corresponding areas and follow that up with what we can learn from those observations.  I try to explore these observations and lessons learned through a greater financial planning lens for the everyday person.

Episode: 3 Lessons Learned in 2022 So Far | Investing

Episode: 3 Lessons Learned in 2022 So Far | Mid-Career

Episode: 3 Lessons Learned in 2022 So Far | In or Near Retirement

(~15 min listen time each... I recommend 1.5x speed)
